How to Wear the Phototherapy Patches
When you receive your patches, they will come with a booklet illustrating where to apply the patch.
For all the patches, you can wear them on the acupuncture points for 12 hours, and then you take 12 hours off and apply another one. Don’t worry if you wear them longer.
You’ll want to stay adequately hydrated, drink 8 ounces of water when you apply a patch and stay well hydrated during the day.
As well as drinking water, if you are low on mineral intake you may also consider starting to take a magnesium supplement each day.
Are the Phototherapy Patches Waterproof?
Yes, the patches can be worn in the shower or bath. You can also take them off and reapply afterward. You may need to use a little bit of medical tape to make sure it will stick back on.
The patches are hypoallergenic, if someone is sensitive to the adhesive you can place it on their clothing in the general area. All the patches need to be activated, is to be by your body heat and near your skin.
